Domain leasing
without the friction.

Rent the perfect domain name for your business or lease out one you own. Secure monthly payments, simple handover, and no long-term commitment.

Why choose domain leasing

Use premium names without buying them

A great domain can cost thousands upfront. Domain leasing lets you use it for predictable monthly rent while the owner keeps the asset.

Secure, mediated handover

We coordinate access via DNS or registrar technical contact so the domain never leaves the owner's account. Communication stays private and admin-mediated.

Automatic monthly billing

Rent is billed automatically each month. Owners receive payouts through their connected Stripe account, and renters can renew or cancel from their dashboard.

Clear 10% platform fee

We charge a 10% commission on each rent payment. The rest goes straight to the owner. No setup fees, no hidden costs.

Renew before your lease ends

If your lease is set to expire, renew from your dashboard to keep using the name. Owners can also re-list a domain once it returns.

Month-to-month or term-based

Most listings are month-to-month. When an owner sets a minimum term, the lease runs until the end of that term unless cancelled per policy.

How domain leasing works

    Find a domain

Search listings and filter by keyword, category, or price to find the name you want.

The owner points the domain or adds you as a technical contact. Changes usually take minutes to 48 hours.

  4. 4

    Use & renew

Build on your new name. Renew before expiry, or cancel from your dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

What is domain leasing?

Domain leasing is a flexible arrangement where the owner of a domain name rents it to another party for a recurring monthly fee. The owner keeps the domain in their registrar account while the renter gets the use of it for the lease term.

Who owns the domain during a lease?

The owner keeps the domain in their registrar account. The renter receives the access needed to use it, such as DNS control or a technical contact assignment.

How long can I lease a domain?

Most listings are month-to-month. Owners may optionally set a minimum term, and renters can renew from their dashboard before the lease expires.

What happens when the lease ends?

Renters can renew from their dashboard. If the lease ends without renewal, the owner can re-list the domain after the grace period and handover are complete.

Is there a security deposit?

Yes. A refundable security deposit is collected at checkout and held for the lease term. It is automatically refunded after the lease ends, assuming nothing is due.

How do owners get paid?

Owners connect a Stripe account to receive automated payouts. After our 10% platform fee and any payment processing costs, the net rent is transferred to the owner.
